Let’s start the Emma Sweater from the cover of the Cocoknits book. The Cocoknits technique is a fabulous way to create a topdown seamless sweater with set in sleeves. It fits great and is not hard, once you understand the different construction. Cost $40 and you will need to either purchase the pattern on ravelry, or the book -It has been brought to my attention (thank you Maddy!) that the Emma pattern is not available on Ravelry. Sooo you have to buy the book. So let’s make the class $40 if you already have the book, and $65 if you still need to buy it.

Ideas for yarns that will work for this gauge, which is 3 sts/inch include Lanas Quick (Berroco) and Bud (Juniper Moon cotton), but don’t feel like you have to stick to such a bulky yarn. You can definitely attain gauge by knitting a thinner yarn at a much looser gauge (albeit a little tricky to read your stitches) or making a larger size (and we will help you figure this out in class, AND it really only works easily if you aren’t already wanting to make the largest size).
